Turkey Salisbury Steak Recipe
Salisbury steak made with ground turkey and cream of mushroom soup is a different twist on the traditional recipe reminiscent of school lunch days.
The cranberry-orange 'gravy' in this recipes is a natural topping for these non-traditional Salisbury steaks made with ground turkey.
These salisbury steaks have oats, ketchup, and minced dried onion in them and are topped with cream of mushroom soup and onion rings.
Homemade mushroom gravy takes the flavor of simple hamburger steaks to the next level. It's still quick enough to cook for a weeknight dinner.
It was great! I used this recipe for the first time and made changes. Since we are trying to eat healthier these days, I chose turkey over beef. I wanted lots of flavor so I added 1 small fresh onion and some green bell peppers. (approx. 1/4 cup, I think). I also used the entire package of the onion soup mix as well as the gravy mix. It was delicious!
I made this recipe and it was very easy to follow the directions given and a real hit with the husband! It will be a new staple in this house. Thanks!
This was very good, but tastes like turkey...imagine that! Very good and plan to try again with beef. My husband didn't care much for the turkey aftertaste. My four children gobbled it up, though. The gravy was delicious and made this meal! Thanks for sharing!
